The company, Shiraz Cafe was established since August 2003. Ms. Hayedeh Sedghi, the author of Feast of Flavours from the Iranian Kitchen: A Step-by-Step Culinary Adventure, is an experienced Chef in Persian cuisine recipes. The book is sold in major bookstores and is a hit and success till date.

 

 

Her husband, Mr. Reza Kashkouli was impressed, motivated and inspired with his wife's success. The idea of setting up their own cafe has been toying in his mind for many years. Together they teamed up to set up Shiraz Cafe in 2008.

 

 

Heavy investments were used for the expensive set up of the cafe. The small constraint space area of the cafe was not a hindrance. With Mr. Reza's innovative design ideas, the cafe was built with space saving features in mind.

 

 

Mr. and Mrs. Reza are of Iranian nationality who have been living in Singapore for over 20 years. Over the years, they have understood racial harmony in Singapore and the unique flavors of Asians. With that in mind, the menu of Shiraz Cafe is created to suit Asian tastebuds and culture.

 

 

Shiraz Cafe speciality is the minced lamb kebab (shawarma), a popular delicacy in the Middle East. Fresh lambs are marinated and prepared till tender, soft, juicy and odourless - comfortable for all races and cultures!
